Corporate Sales and Leadership Development Trainer

Corporate Sales and Leadership Development Trainers must have Sales Management experience in a complex sales environment and must be able to deliver dynamic, interactive, instructor-led engagements for various level audiences. This position requires the ability to articulate New Velocity’s vision, capabilities, business value, and offerings to both clients and prospects at a high-level.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of New Velocity’s sales methodology, tools, and training content
  • Work with New Velocity sales and marketing staff to understand client expectations and prepare accordingly to ensure needs are met
  • Conduct pre-seminar calls with client liaisons
  • Facilitate instructor-led, classroom-based training as well as web-based training seminars, providing intensive value-add feedback and coaching
  • Keep attendees interested and engaged throughout the seminar
  • Debrief with client management team on seminar results

QUALIFICATIONS\SKILLS\ABILITIES

  • Bachelors degree required, post graduate degree desired
  • Experience in selling and managing to a defined sales process in a complex selling environment preferred
  • Experience within the Technology/software fields desired
  • 5+ years (minimum) of successful experience in sales management or sales consulting
  • 5+ years (minimum) of professional training facilitation; experience in sales and sales management topics, desired
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills; experience in classroom and web based training a plus
  • Enthusiastic, high energy, dynamic personality with the ability to motivate and inspire sales professionals at all levels

Inside Sales Manager

New Velocity a Cary, NC based sales and leadership development company (www.myNewVelocity.com) is currently seeking an experienced Inside Sales Manager.  This dynamic leader and motivator will be responsible for results and developing New Velocity’s small and growing team of inside sales professionals.  In addition, this position will help manage relationships with our current Fortune 100 and larger accounts.  Our ideal candidate to join our fun and fast paced working environment must have experience with motivating, training and developing an Inside Sales team and must have OUTSTANDING interpersonal skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with New Velocity leadership team to lead effort to hire, train and develop quality outbound quota carrying sales people.
  • Coach sales professionals on outbound telephone prospecting skills and proven New Velocity selling skills.
  • Manage all training and development of future hires including our online virtual sales training platform.
  • Measure and monitor sales progress utilizing Salesforce.com.
  • Provide assistance to the team to achieve sales goals and overcome objections through call observations, role-playing and 1:1 coaching sessions.
  • Assist in developing structured reinforcement of material to maximize retention and ensure application of sales skills.
  • Facilitating performance evaluations and complete regular assessments of employees in order to identify coaching opportunities to lift performance.
  • Develop and expand relationships within the client base, including identifying new business opportunities and driving greater adoption of the online sales training platform, Virtual Velocity.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2-5 years successful inside sales management and leadership.
  • Documented success in new client acquisitions.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills accompanied with strong client relationship skills.
  • Self-directed and motivated with the ability to think creatively and work with little day-to-day supervision from partners.

Independent Trainer

We’re looking for people who are comfortable sharing New Velocity’s curriculum, philosophy, and vision with our prospects and clients. Trainers are matched with clients based on industry experience and fit to the client’s requirements.New Velocity’s contract trainers are independent contractors.

What does one of New Velocity’s Independent Trainers do?

  • Participate in in-depth analysis of clients’ selling environments via telephone and in-person before delivering programs.
  • Facilitate classroom and virtual sales and sales management training curriculum in a way that’s effective and engaging.
  • Provide real-time coaching to participants.
  • Provide follow-up reinforcement via telephone to participants to ensure that classroom learning is applied in the field.

What qualifications does an Independent Trainer have?

  • Graduate degree and/or extensive experience selling and leading sales organizations.
  • Comfort with facilitation technologies (e.g. PowerPoint, projectors, etc.).
  • Experience in a wide range of B2B selling environments.
  • Experience presenting and facilitating in classroom and virtual environments.
  • Capacity to incorporate personal, real-world stories into the curriculum.
  • Ability to travel extensively.
  • A video demonstrating facilitation style.
  • Experience at the Senior/Executive level leading a sales team is highly preferred.
